New Suit - First Picture

This is the first (and rather terrible) photograph of a suit bought from the ASOS sale - called 'Vintage Stripes' on the packaging - for a little over a ton. It is 100% wool and includes a matching waistcoat. I added better, contrasting buttons for a more 'vintage' effect. I will provide more photographs when I have the opportunity to shoot in the daylight.

Suit -ASOS Tailoring (buttons from John Lewis)

Shirt - Cad & The Dandy

Bow tie - eBay

Pocket watch - eBay

Loafers - Church's

How does the mail order fitting work for you?

It is certainly interesting for me to read this post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and everything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.

It wasn't a mail order fitting, like Indochino for example, but simply a guess on sizing. I am keen to try Indochino's guaranteed fit mail order service soon though. W

Thanks, that's what I meant. The guessing on fitting is what makes me nervous. Clothes always have to be just right.

A man in Church's shoes is a friend indeed!

May I pick your sartorial expertise please? Where would one acquire a reasonable priced self bow tie and cummerbund? I check on the Hackett website and it would cost me over £80 to purchase both (more than the price of my ball ticket) =(

I have used these people before and the quality, as well as the value, is excellent. The bow tie is £18 and the cummerbund £20. Add a little for delivery but it still comes in at £38. All silk too.

Best regards,

I inclination not approve on it. I over warm-hearted post. Particularly the designation attracted me to study the sound story.
