This is a silk-linen suit I bought a while ago from H&M. I love how it has aged.

Shoes - Church's

Suit - H&M

Waistcoat - Butler & Webb (buttons added)

Tie - Austin Reed vintage

Shirt - TM Lewin

Pocket square - Hackett

Dear Winston,

This is very elegant and just
right for the very hot weather
that will come in July and August.

But where is your handsome face
is this?

all best regards

Thanks for the compliment!

I wanted to focus on the texture of the jacket, which was rather lost in the full length photo.

Hi Winston,

Let me go on a tangent and not address or comment on this post, but rather ask: what happened to your music blog? I was browsing through it the other day and just your knowledge on music was more than erudite. The fact that you play as well must be an incredible boon.

For all the reasons that have precluded you from attending to it, I say, get back to it. You don't know what a pleasure it was reading it.

I cannot believe how beautifully the H&M suit has matured: is it still stocked do you know?

Dear Winston,

I discovered your blog a couple of weeks ago. It is really inspiring and refreshing. COngratulations and thank you very much.

Thanks for the kind and wise words. Unfortunately, with a full time job during the week and writing at the weekend, I get little opportunity to keep my music blog up to date although I still compose my own pieces and quickly record them on my phone, so I have a batch of tunes waiting to be uploaded!

This suit is not still stocked and, unfortunately, silk-linen is a rarity in H&M these days. I think it has gone downhill a tad in the past few seasons.

Happy to have inspired and refreshed you. I hope you keep coming back.
